Cherry Coconut Bread Breads

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 to 1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup softened butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup cherry juice
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cut up cherries
3/4 to 1 cup fine coconut

Cream the sugar and butter. Add the egg, salt and liquid .

Add the dry ingredients and beat. Fold in the cherries and coconut. Let rise for 1/2 hour. Bake at 350 F in a greased

9"x 5" loaf pan for 45 to 60 minutes or until done.
